Joe Chiodi

Meet the Chef

The USDA ground beef blended with a secret recipe of fresh ingredients is inspired by a local firefighter and his mother-in-law’s original homemade meatball creation.

Joe Chiodi, a New York City firefighter at Engine 262, has been keeping busy in the kitchen and feeding his “brothers” various savory meals throughout his tenure. Sharing his love affair with cooking in the firehouse soon led to refining his mother-in-law’s recipe and serving his homemade meatballs on a regular basis. Everyone knows Firemen are great chefs and the best critics!

And his brothers continued to eat, his dedication and passion to the culinary arts prospered, landing him multiple television appearances and the opportunity to compete in elite cooking competitions.

Chiodi grew up with

A father who loved to eat and a mother who loved to cook. Today, he wishes to share that same comfort and passion that was instilled in him at an early age; Food and the relationships it can create, the experiences it can provide, and a high level of spontaneity and excitement to eating and eating well.

Chiodi lives in Wantagh, NY with his wife Meagan and their two children, Gianna Bella and Joseph Louis Chiodi, Jr.
